The M.A.R.S. (Modular Attack Backpack Standard) combat backpack is designed as a modular daypack with features that make it a loyal companion in any situation.
The M.A.R.S. has a capacity of approx. 30 liters. The main compartment is divided and includes a compartment to hold a plastic reinforcement (not included), which prevents the contents from interfering with comfort. A water bladder of up to 3 liters also fits in this compartment. Directly in front of this is a compartment that can be secured with two straps. Heavy objects can be braced against the plastic plate here. We have developed this function especially for radio devices such as the SEM 70 or devices from the PRC series, but it can of course also be used for other purposes.
Two openings for cables, antennas or hoses are provided in the lid next to the carrying handle. Inside there is also a mesh compartment for small items, which is arranged so that it can be placed on top of the load when the rucksack is fully packed and is therefore always within easy reach.
The front is designed with 8 rows of 7 MOLLE channels and has a Velcro surface for ID patches in the upper area. There are also plenty of MOLLE loops on the sides so that even large side pouches such as our combat pouches or the universal backpack side pouches can be attached.
The carrying system consists of the tried and tested ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and a split pad. The split padding gives the rucksack a more precise fit when worn on a protective vest. When worn without a protective vest, the split creates a channel that ensures better ventilation. A detachable waist belt further improves the fit of the rucksack.
For transportation in vehicles or on pallets, the carrying system can be stowed away completely behind the padding, preventing it from getting caught and making it easier to stow the rucksacks.
The tensioning straps on the side are dimensioned so that the M.A.R.S. can be securely fastened to larger rucksacks or in a vehicle.
As always with Zentauron, the materials used and the manufacturing process comply with military specifications. This means you get a robust product that is up to the job and also impresses in the private sector with its durable quality.
