The modular assault backpack M. A. R. S. (Modular Attack backpack standard) is designed as a modular daypack with features that make it a faithful companion in every situation.
The M. A. R. S. holds about 30 litres.
The main compartment is subdivided and includes a compartment for a plastic reinforcement (not included) that prevents the contents from compromising comfort. A water bubble of up to 3 litres can also be placed in this compartment. Directly in front of it is a compartment, which can be tied by means of two straps. Here, heavy objects can be clamped against the plastic plate. We have developed this function especially for radios such as the SEM 70 or PRC series radios. In addition to the carrying handle, two outlets for cables, antennas or hoses are provided in the lid for this purpose. Inside there is an additional mesh compartment for small parts, which is arranged in such a way that it can be placed on top of the load when the rucksack is full and can therefore always be reached quickly.
The front is designed with 8 rows by 7 channels MOLLE and has a Velcro surface for ID patches in the upper area.
There are also plenty of MOLLE loops on the sides so that even large side pockets such as our combat bags, universal side pockets or the side pockets for our mission backpack can be looped up.
The carrying system consists of the proven ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and a split padding, which improves the fit on a protective vest and creates a channel without the vest, ensuring better ventilation. The removable
belly strap further improves the fit of the backpack.
For transport in vehicles or on pallets, the carrying system can be completely stowed behind the cushion, thus preventing the rucksack from getting caught and simplifying storage.
The straps on the side are dimensioned so that the M. A. R. S. can be securely attached to larger backpacks or in the vehicle.
