In spring 2010 the two acting partners Paul Rihl and Adrian Eisel decided to found a company with the aim to produce handmade special equipment for use in the military, rescue and security forces.
The application areas expanded quickly and today civil users also benefit from the equipment, Zentauron has developed.
We manufacture bags, backpacks, protection vests, promotional bags, outdoor and sport bags and much more here in Bad Salzuflen.
The company started in a cellar-room, which was production-room, storeroom and office all in one. Here we developed the first prototypes. At the same time we started with the buildup of our online shop system, where we rely on our own solutions too.
In the middle of 2010 the first real sewing machine was bought.
The cellar-room became too small after a few weeks, so we needed the laundry and storage cellars as space for our company too.
At the beginning of 2011, we were able to launch the first products for testing and to initiate new developments from the gained experience reports.
In January we entered the first product datas into our shop system. At this time we had in our color-range the colors sand, olive-green (german Bundeswehr) and the 3-color camouflage print. In the middle of 2011, we opened our online shop, which had a simple design and offered nearly 100 articles.
At the end of 2011 we became an integration-company, where people can find work, if they are handicapped or have difficulties to be placed on the job market. So we created a working place in our quality control for somebody, who can't work under noisy conditions. This decision has proved to be perfectly correct as the employee performs our quality control conscientiously.
We have been exhibitor on the Special Forces Days 2012 and on a group stand on the IWA.
And we moved from our cellar-rooms to a new production site at the Hoerster Street in Lage – Muessen, where new machines could be built up.
In December 2012 our offer in the shop has grown to 355 items.
We move again, this time to Bad Salzuflen – Knetterheide.
Our standard color assortment is extended by Multicam and the core workforce by two permanent jobs. We became the official sponsor of the Bobby Car Team OWL.
New machines were purchased to optimize the processes and significantly increase the output of bags. At the end of the year there are over 500 items in our shop.
The first order of the german Bundeswehr was successfully completed.
9 standard product colors are now available. In addition, we manufacture our products on request in many civilian colors, including red, blue, orange and yellow. We also process camouflage colors from various countries (GB, USA, France, etc.) and commercial suppliers (such as A-Tacs, PenCott, Kryptek and the entire Multicam family).
The product range in the shop grows to around 670 items.
In this year some new products have been developed and we presented them at trade fairs with great success.
We have been exhibitor in Nuremberg on the Enforce Tac in and afterwards at the IWA, later we have been able to show a small selection of our range at the Millipol-fair in Paris.
Once again, we exhibited a small part of our products at the Specical Forces Days, focusing on tactical emergency medicine.
Our production site became again too small, so we moved in spring 2016 to our new rooms in the Otto-Hahn-Street 41 in Bad Salzuflen - Schoetmar.
In May our new laser cutter arrived and does a good job by making our Patches.
In July, the long-awaited new Coyote-Cordura-fabric (BW Brown) was delivered. Based on German TL, this fabric has a markedly increased performance.
In October we enlarged again our production site and created new office rooms, but this time in the same building complex. A new CAD plotter for cut patterns was purchased.
At the end of February, our new showroom was ready. Here we also sell individual parts and spout models.
On March 8, our new Internet Shop went online. You can order articles in the areas of Military & Police, Rescue as well as Outdoor & EDC (Every Day Carry).
