Declaration on accessibility

P.Rihl & A. Eisel GbR endeavors to make the Zentauron online store at www.zentauron.de as accessible as possible.

Our aim is to offer all customers the simplest, most comprehensible and secure access to our products, information and ordering options.

This declaration on accessibility applies to the Zentauron online store at

www.zentauron.de

Legal basis

We are guided by the requirements of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, the Ordinance to the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz and recognized technical standards for accessible web content.

The requirements for services in electronic commerce are particularly relevant for online stores. These include product information, ordering functions, customer accounts, security functions and payment functions.

Accessibility status

The assessment of accessibility is currently based on an internal self-assessment and an initial review of publicly accessible store areas. A complete external accessibility audit is not currently available.

According to the current status, the Zentauron online store is partially compatible with the requirements.

We are aware that individual content and functions can still be improved. These areas will be checked and improved step by step as part of the technical development and editorial maintenance of the store.

Areas that are still being improved

After an initial internal review, the following areas in particular may still have limitations:

Product overviews and product cards

In the product overviews, individual product cards, preview functions, wish list functions or image links may not yet be optimally prepared for use with a keyboard or assistive technologies in all cases.

Planned improvement:
We are gradually reviewing these areas and improving the labeling and usability of the individual elements.

Alternative:
If you have any questions about a product, please feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail.

Symbols and operating elements

Individual icons and controls, for example for search, shopping cart, navigation, preview or wish list, can be further improved.

Planned improvement:
We are working on labeling these elements more clearly and further improving their use with assistive technologies.

Product images and image galleries

Many product images already have alternative texts. However, the descriptions can still be improved for individual image variants or very similar product images.

Planned improvement:
We are gradually reviewing the alternative texts for relevant product images and adapting them where necessary.

Forms, customer account and ordering process

Login, customer account, shopping cart, product selection and checkout will be further reviewed. Individual form fields, selection fields or notes may still have limitations when used with a keyboard, screen reader or other assistive technologies.

Planned improvement:
We continue to check forms, shopping cart and order process as part of the technical store maintenance and improve these areas step by step.

Alternative:
If you have any difficulties placing an order, you can contact us by phone or email. We will be happy to assist you.

PDF files and documents

Individual PDF files, for example maintenance instructions or forms, may not yet be fully accessible.

Planned improvement:
New or revised documents should be created as accessible as possible in future. Existing documents will be checked when they are updated and adapted if necessary.

Alternative:
If you require information from a document in a different form, please contact us. If possible, we will provide you with the information in a suitable form.

External services

Individual integrated services, in particular payment and shipping functions, are partly beyond our direct technical control.

Planned improvement:
We endeavor to use solutions with as few barriers as possible and to provide alternatives where possible.
