By the conception of the Intervention Bag ZFR (Zentauron First Responder) the german Bundeswehr's medical services have played a major role. This waist bag has been developed especially for first responders. The concept of this bag is, that the helper will work step by step from the outside to the inside and so workflows can be executed quickly and efficiently. Thus, it is provided, that in the small zippered pocket disposable gloves are kept, rescue scissors and tourniquet in the compartment underneath as well as injections and tubes in the rubber loops on the front. In the main compartment is placed everything else, what is needed for the first aid. This arrangement allows a structured procedure and facilitates working on the patient.

The intervention bag is purposed to be worn as single waist bag in combination with the Smartbelt ZFR unpadded or the Smartbelt ZFR padded, or in combination with the Medic Pack ZFR as additional bag on the hip belt. However, it can also be attached almost to any other belt, simply open the two velcro flaps on the back and attach the bag to a trouser belt or to a pipe in the vehicle. Of course, it is also possible to transport non-medical items in the bag.
