This alarm whistle is almost indestructible and can produce a shrill, penetrating signal tone with a level above 100 db (decibels). Manufactured according to the international directive SOLAS 74 as well as the European standard ISO 12402-8, is this whistle buoyant and has a 2-tone signal.
