Environmental Protection and Sustainability at Zentauron
Zentauron develops and manufactures a variety of products at its facility in Bad Salzuflen. These include tactical gear, bags, backpacks, carrying systems, and other textile products and equipment components.
For us, responsible use of resources means, above all, carefully selecting materials, designing products for a long service life, keeping supply chains as short as possible, and developing and manufacturing many of our products at our own facility in Germany.
This isn’t about making blanket environmental promises, but rather about taking concrete steps in material sourcing, manufacturing, use, and shipping.
Durable Products for Long-Term Use
An important part of our approach is the lifespan of our products. Depending on the intended use, materials, workmanship, and design are tailored to the respective requirements.
During development and manufacturing, we focus on robust materials, durable components, and meticulous craftsmanship. The goal is to produce products that fulfill their function for as long as possible, even with regular and intensive use.
Proper cleaning and care can also help extend the life of materials and products.
Materials and Suppliers
The quality of our products begins with the materials we use. These include technical textiles, webbing, hook-and-loop fasteners, closures, and other components, all of which are selected based on the stresses they will face and their intended function.
When sourcing materials, we collaborate with specialized manufacturers and suppliers from Germany and Europe. In addition to the required technical properties and the quality of the materials, reliable supplier relationships and the shortest possible supply chains play a key role.
Collaboration with Local Companies
Part of our supply chain is located in close proximity to our production site in Bad Salzuflen.
Among the regional companies with which Zentauron collaborates are Güth & Wolf in Gütersloh and DELCOTEX in Bielefeld.
Güth & Wolf specializes in the manufacture of tapes and straps. DELCOTEX develops and produces technical textiles. Both companies have production sites in East Westphalia and are therefore relatively close to our location in Bad Salzuflen.
Collaborating with regional suppliers enables short supply chains and facilitates direct communication between material manufacturers and our own production facilities.
However, distance alone does not determine the selection of a material. The decisive factors remain the technical properties, quality, and suitability for the intended application.
Production in Bad Salzuflen
Many of our products are developed and manufactured at our facility in Bad Salzuflen.
This allows us to closely integrate development, cutting, manufacturing, and quality control. Short communication channels within the company make it easier to adjust manufacturing details, incorporate production experience into further development, and continuously monitor the quality of our products.

Manufacturing in Germany also allows us to integrate regional and German companies into part of our supply chain.
Packaging and Shipping
We also ensure the appropriate use of materials when it comes to packaging.
Our products must be reliably protected during storage and transport. At the same time, we want to avoid unnecessary packaging material. That’s why we select shipping packaging appropriate for each shipment and take care to limit the use of materials to what is strictly necessary.
Sustainability as an Ongoing Commitment
When it comes to our products, sustainability cannot be reduced to a single material or a single production step.
Materials, supply chains, manufacturing processes, and packaging are constantly evolving. That is why we continuously review our material selection, sourcing channels, manufacturing processes, and packaging, and seek improvements wherever they can be implemented in a technically and practically feasible manner.
The key factor remains that our products reliably fulfill their intended function. We take environmental and resource considerations into account wherever they can be meaningfully combined with quality, function, and economically viable production processes.
