Depending on the material, contour, and scope of the order, cutting is performed manually or by machine. For simple contours, individual parts, and certain materials, cutting can be done by hand. A cutting machine is available for recurring or larger-scale cutting jobs.
The cut parts can be digitally arranged prior to cutting. Through this process, known as nesting, the individual contours are positioned as efficiently as possible on the available material surface.
The suitability of a cutting method for a project is determined based on the material, the contours, the quantity, and the available documentation.

Material Provision and Procurement
Whether the material is provided by the client or procured through Zentauron is determined on a case-by-case basis for each project.
In general, we can source materials. This applies in particular to materials we work with regularly, such as CORDURA®. However, availability, specifications, color, quantity, and lead time must be verified before we prepare a quote.
If the customer provides the material, we require sufficient information regarding the type of material and the available quantity. Depending on the project, a material sample or preliminary testing may also be required.
