Sprinter Pack – Compact 13-Liter Tactical MOLLE Backpack and Daypack

The Zentauron Sprinter Pack is a compact tactical 13-liter MOLLE backpack and daypack designed for operations, training, outdoor activities, and daily gear. It combines a manageable pack volume with extensive MOLLE/PALS features, a hydration system attachment point, and a body-hugging carry system.

With a volume of about 13 liters, dimensions of approximately 45 × 25 × 10 cm, and a weight of around 600 g, the Sprinter Pack remains compact. It is particularly well-suited when a large operational or hiking backpack isn’t necessary, but you still need to carry personal gear, food, weather protection, or other day gear in addition to a hydration bladder.

13 liters of storage space and well-thought-out interior organization

The main compartment offers space for personal gear and day pack essentials. On the inside facing the body, there is a slip pocket approximately 35 cm high and 22 cm wide. It can be used to organize flat items of gear or to hold a hydration bladder.

In the upper section, there are 20 mm wide Velcro strips. These can be used, for example, to secure a hydration tube or cables inside the backpack and route them neatly to the exit. The tube or cable is then routed to the outside through the designated cable/tube outlet in the lid.

The included valuables pocket is located on the inside front panel. It is secured with Velcro and can therefore be removed if necessary. Measuring approximately 15 × 13 cm, it provides separate storage space for smaller personal items and gear. The valuables pocket itself is also closed with Velcro.

MOLLE/PALS for Modular Expansions

The Sprinter Pack features extensive MOLLE/PALS webbing for attaching additional pouches and gear.

  • Front: 6 × 5 MOLLE/PALS
  • Bottom side: 2 × 3 MOLLE/PALS
  • Top side: 1 × 3 MOLLE/PALS

This allows the backpack to be expanded modularly depending on the task and equipment. Additional multipurpose pouches, water bottle pouches, or other compatible MOLLE/PALS components can be attached to the exterior.

The Sprinter Pack side pockets are available specifically for the Sprinter Pack. Additional expansions can be found in the backpack accessories section.

Our guide, “How to Properly Attach MOLLE/PALS Gear,” shows you how to correctly attach MOLLE/PALS pouches.

Compression Straps with Webbing Management

There are two compression straps made of 25 mm wide webbing on the sides. They can be used to cinch the backpack when it’s not fully loaded and to stabilize the contents closer to the body.

The compression straps are operated via plastic snap buckles. They also feature an integrated webbing management system. Excess webbing can be rolled up and then secured directly to the strap using Velcro. This prevents long strap ends from hanging loosely from the backpack.

Body-hugging carrying system with lightweight 3D mesh padding

The entire back panel of the Sprinter Pack is lined with lightly padded 3D mesh or spacer fabric. The padding is intentionally kept fairly flat and is not comparable to the significantly thicker padding found in large trekking or hiking backpacks.

This keeps the Sprinter Pack compact and close to the body. The spacer fabric also promotes some air circulation between the backpack and the body.

The shoulder straps are about 7 cm wide. Their inner side, which faces the body, is also equipped with lightweight 3D mesh padding. Here, too, the focus is on a flat, compact design rather than heavily padded load-bearing support for heavy touring loads.

A vertical strap channel with four compartments runs down the center of each shoulder strap. This provides additional, defined attachment points on the shoulder strap.

Adjustable and Removable Chest Strap

The Sprinter Pack features a 20 mm wide chest strap. It is adjustable, can be completely removed, and can be repositioned at the designated points. This allows its position to be adjusted to the individual user and their personal preference for the carrying system.

At the bottom of the back panel, there are mounts on the left and right for an optionally available hip or waist belt. This can be added if additional stabilization of the backpack is desired.

Patch Areas for Identification

The front features hook-and-loop surfaces for identification. They can be used, for example, for name tags, ID patches, reflective patches, or other compatible identifiers.

Cordura®, IRR/NIR, and Manufacturing in Germany

The Sprinter Pack is made of durable Cordura®. Depending on the version, the materials used are designed to meet tactical requirements and minimize IR/NIR signature.

The Sprinter Pack is developed and manufactured by Zentauron in Germany.

Who is the Sprinter Pack suitable for?

The Sprinter Pack is suitable for users looking for a compact, durable, and modularly expandable backpack with MOLLE/PALS and hydration system compatibility.

  • Military users
  • Law enforcement and professional emergency responders
  • Training and competitive shooting
  • Outdoor enthusiasts
  • Bushcraft
  • Day trips and short hikes
  • Users who need a compact daypack with modular expansion options

The Sprinter is also ideal as a compact daypack for outdoor activities and short trips when a smaller pack volume is sufficient and you still want to use MOLLE/PALS attachments or a hydration system.

With its combination of 13 liters of storage space, hydration system compatibility, and modular MOLLE/PALS features, the Sprinter Pack falls functionally between a dedicated hydration carrier and a larger tactical backpack.
