Protective Vest Thor

This vest is a so called MOBAST (modular ballistic protection and carrying system), is based on the ballistic inserts of the new protection vest (Gladius IDZ ES and MOBAST) of the german Bundeswehr and is fully compatible with the soft- and hardballistic components. The improved cut of the new vest combines thae high mobility of plate carriers with the higher protection level of protective vests, additional you can extend the protective vest Thor with a ballistic neck protection and an upper arm- and a groin protection.

The arrangement of the MOLLE loops as well as adjustment and closure of the vest can be tuned to all types of deployment, starting with the infantry deployment over storming of buildings under full protection up to the patrol service with vehicles. The modular loops are spread on the front and back as well on the cummerbund, so that you can attach your bags optimally organized to your mission.

The optional available Snap Flap is designed as closure for the both cummerbunds and secures these. An other possibility is the optional available Snap Rig, which has the same purpose, but can take more additional pouches than the flap. The snap function of these two products is very useful,
for example, when you sit up on vehicles or want to change the front setup. The protective vest Thor is therefore a class in itself in terms of protection, modularity and mobility.

Like all other military ZentauroN products, the emphasis is placed on robust processing, longevity and sustainable production, which protects the environment and resources. This product complies with the requirements of the german Bundeswehr in the sense of the materials used, the processing as well as the requirements for camouflage, health and environmental compatibility.
