Horizontal Multi-Purpose Pouch – Flat MOLLE Pouch for Organized Gear

The Horizontal Multi-Purpose Pouch is a wide, flat MOLLE pouch designed for tactical, supply, and personal gear. With its horizontal design, it utilizes a larger area on the carrying system without protruding unnecessarily. This makes it particularly suitable for plate carriers, battle belts, tactical belts, and MOLLE backpacks with a correspondingly wide attachment surface.

Inside, two mesh inserts and additional rubber loops help keep different pieces of gear separate and organized. This allows for the orderly transport of items such as spare parts and consumables, tools, cables, small electronic components, personal items, or small medical supplies.

Wide design with shallow depth

The dimensions of approximately 24 × 15 × 4 cm give the pouch its distinctive shape. Unlike more compact and deeper pouches, this multipurpose pouch distributes its storage space horizontally across a larger area.

This is particularly useful when equipment needs to be carried close to the body or flat against an existing MOLLE surface. The pouch offers a volume of approximately 1.4 liters, combining additional storage space with a comparatively shallow depth.

It can thus be used as an additional organizational and supply pouch on the sash of a body armor carrier, on a battle belt, or on the outside of a MOLLE backpack.

Internal Organization for Various Equipment

The interior layout combines two mesh compartments with elastic loops. This allows smaller items to be stored separately and elongated or narrow pieces of gear to be secured in place.

The bag is therefore not only suitable for loose small items but especially for gear that needs to remain neatly organized within a larger bag. The contents can be organized according to mission requirements or personal gear configuration without the multi-purpose bag being limited to a single use.

Personal medical supplies can also be stored inside. However, the Horizontal Multi-Purpose Pouch is designed as a universal MOLLE multi-purpose pouch and not as a specialized IFAK pouch.

MOLLE Attachment and Modular Expansion

Attachment is via the MOLLE/Faststick system. This allows the pouch to be attached to compatible MOLLE panels on plate carriers, carrying systems, tactical belts, and backpacks.

Additional modular loops on the exterior expand the bag’s range of uses. Depending on your gear setup, additional compatible components can be attached there.

For plate carriers, battle belts, and MOLLE backpacks

On a plate carrier, the multi-purpose pouch can be mounted horizontally, for example, on a sufficiently wide MOLLE panel or on the cummerbund. Its horizontal shape is particularly useful when additional storage space needs to be distributed across the surface.

The pouch can also be used on a battle belt or tactical belt as an additional utility pouch for tactical gear and supplies.

When attached to a MOLLE backpack, it creates additional, organized storage space on the outside. This allows frequently used items to be carried separately from the main compartment.

Rugged construction for modular gear

Cordura® polyamide 6.6 is used for the Horizontal Multi-Purpose Pouch. The webbing used is also made of polyamide 6.6. The materials used are IRR/NIR-optimized and designed to minimize visibility in the near-infrared spectrum. The bag is manufactured in Germany.

The Horizontal Multi-Purpose Pouch thus combines a rugged construction with a clear purpose: to organize gear flat, modularly, and clearly across a wide MOLLE surface.
