The ITW Nexus signal whistle is a compact and loud emergency whistle designed for acoustic signaling. With a sound pressure level of over 100 dB and a distinctive two-tone signal, it is ideal for situations where you need to alert others to your location from a distance.

Weighing only about 10 g, the signal whistle can be carried at all times on a backpack, life jacket, or other gear. It is buoyant, making it suitable for hiking, trekking, and outdoor activities, as well as for water sports, rescue operations, and emergency response.

Over 100 dB with a two-tone signal

The whistle produces an acoustic signal exceeding 100 dB. The two-tone signal creates a distinctive sound that stands out clearly from many normal ambient noises.

This allows the whistle to be used for signaling in emergencies, indicating one’s position, or communicating over long distances. Especially while hiking, in rugged terrain, or on the water, a signal whistle is a simple way to emit a clearly audible signal without electronic devices.

Signal Whistle in accordance with ISO 12402-8

The signal whistle complies with ISO 12402-8 and is therefore particularly suitable for use on life jackets and in water sports.

It also meets the requirements of SOLAS 74. This makes it suitable not only as an outdoor and emergency whistle but also for applications in the fields of water sports, rescue, and safety equipment.

The whistle is buoyant. This makes it easier to reach even when used on the water and makes it particularly suitable for attachment to life jackets, flotation devices, backpacks, or other equipment.

Clip and Eyelet for Attachment

The signal whistle features an integrated clip and an additional attachment eyelet for securing it. The clip can be attached, for example, to suitable straps, loops, or MOLLE mounts.

The eyelet also allows the whistle to be secured with a cord, safety line, or other suitable fastener. This ensures it can be carried on your gear and kept within easy reach at all times.
