This Modular Flap is an extension for plate carriers and can be attached to either the front or rear.
This extension is designed to allow the user to quickly change equipment setups.
Fits
Preconfigured modular flaps allow the user to quickly adapt to a new situation and minimize changeover times. For attaching e.g. magazine pouches, 4 rows with 6 channels MOLLE are available. An additional horizontal channel with 4 MOLLE loops is located at the bottom edge of the flap. Here, for example, knives, tourniquet or pistol magazine pouches can be attached.
Attachment to the plate carrier is via 4 webbing straps located at the top of the back. The webbing is simply pulled through the MOLLE loops of the carrier and then looped through the webbing on the flap. The webbing straps are fixed to the Velcro flap.
The Velcro surface at the bottom of the Flap is velcroed into the plate pocket for a firm hold.
The Modular Flap is an innovative fastening system with additional functions. For example, additional material such as a flat IFAK or maps can be carried between the plate carrier and the Modular Flap. The Modular Flap is for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and also fits on the LHT plate carrier supplied on duty.
The materials used comply with the technical delivery conditions of the Bundeswehr or the MIL-SPEC of various other armies. Fabric, webbing, plastic parts as well as all haberdashery meet military standards in terms of infrared values as well as composition and quality.
