Micro Battle Chest Rig Extended SET – Compact Modular Carrying System

The Zentauron Micro Battle Chest Rig Extended SET is a compact, modular chest rig designed for military, law enforcement, and tactical operations. The set consists of the Micro Battle Chest Rig, the matching harness, and the Extended Back Cover Pouch.

Thanks to the combination of Velcro panels, side MOLLE/PALS mounts, and the Extended Back Cover Pouch, the carrying system can be adapted to various gear configurations. The focus is on a compact design with modular mounting for magazines, pistol holsters, and other gear.

Modular Design for Magazines and Gear

The chest rig features a two-part main compartment with large Velcro areas. Compatible Velcro magazine pouches or a pistol holster can be inserted there.

Depending on the configuration, the system is suitable for M4, G36, MP7, and MP5 magazine pouches, among others. This allows the rig to be tailored to different weapon and magazine systems.

Offset compartments and integrated drainage holes support the functional use of the carrying system in the field.

Extended Back Cover Pouch

The Extended Back Cover Pouch is included. It expands the chest rig with additional storage space for maps, documents, and other flat gear items.

The pouch attaches to the Micro Battle Chest Rig via a large Velcro mounting surface. On the sides are 2 × 3 MOLLE/PALS loops, which can be used to add additional compact pouches or gear items.

Depending on your gear setup, suitable options include compact IFAK pouches, compatible magazine pouches, or small MOLLE multi-purpose pouches—provided their attachment width matches the available 2 × 3 MOLLE panel.

Harness and Carrying System

The harness included in the set is 5 cm wide at the shoulders. Side MOLLE loops provide additional attachment options for compact gear or controls such as radio PTT buttons.

On the back, there is a marking area for patches or similar identifiers.

IRR/NIR equipment

The visible Cordura® sections of the carrying system are IRR/NIR-treated. This reduces the material’s visibility in the near-infrared spectrum.

The visible Cordura® sections of the Extended Back Cover Pouch are also designed accordingly. When mounted, the pouch’s large hook-and-loop fastening surface is positioned between the pouch and the chest rig and is largely concealed.

Material and Construction

The Micro Battle Chest Rig Extended SET is made of polyamide and Cordura® fabric. The set weighs approximately 0.49 kg.

Development and manufacturing take place at Zentauron in Germany.
