Ballistic insert for ARES plate carriers consisting of a NIJ Level 3A insert for the back and the front.

The German protection class (SK) 1 and the American NIJ-Level IIIA (National Institute of Justice, Research Centre of the Ministry of Justice) correspond approximately to the same standard. Both define protection against common handguns, whereby the calibers used are similar.
The ballistic inserts have a valid certificate from the H.P. White Laboratory, Inc.
