This ballistic insert of protection class Level IIIA is intended for the cover of the Zentauron upper arm protection. The soft ballistic can be used on the Vulcan series plate carriers and the Thor protective vest. The insert protects the area of the upper arm from ammunition from small arms.

The ballistic insert upper arm protection closes the gap between the front and the back, which exists in the upper area of the protective vest or plate carrier. This softballistic achieves the US protection class NIJ Lvl IIIA, which is equivalent to the German protection class 1 and protects against many pistols with different calibers. The pair weighs approximately 644 grams.

Extension for plate carriers and protective vests

The ballistic upper arm protection fits into the dimensions of the sheath upper arm protection and thus increases their safety without restricting mobility. The insert is simply inserted into the sleeve and secured via Velcro. The sleeve is then also attached to the tactical equipment via Velcro.

Attachment to numerous vests and plate carriers from other manufacturers can be accomplished using the ZentauroN Universal Shoulder Pads.

The ballistic inserts upper arm protection in combination with the sleeve fit to the plate carriers and protective vests from ZentauroN.
