Ballistic insert SET plate carrier NIJ lvl IIIA

Ballistic inserts front and rear for plate carriers.

We offer soft ballistic inserts with NIJ Lvl IIIA protection class to fit the Vulcan series of plate carriers. This protects against ammunition from handguns, such as pistols. The ballistics can be used individually or as an extension with SK4 hard ballistics plates.

This set consists of two single curved softballistics inserts. The material used is an aramid fabric UD fabric. The size or cut is adapted to a SAPI M (250mm x 300mm x 12 mm) plate.

The weight The pair weighs about 940 grams. The cover is welded waterproof and can be cleaned with a damp cloth if necessary.

Application of the inserts is simple. The ballistic is inserted into the plate pocket of the plate carrier front and back. It is important that the side with the label "Here body side" also faces your body.

Extension for plates SK4 and NIJ lvl IV

Most SK4 plates fulfill protection class 4 only if they are worn in front of a soft ballistic protection insert of protection class 1. A corresponding note is always found on the hard ballistic plate. Standalone plates are an exception. The soft ballistic is always worn behind the hard ballistic.
